A call on the ultrarich to fund feminist movements
SHAKE THE TABLE
Feminst movements are powerhouses. Their work around the world is transformational and needed more than ever to push back on authoritarianism and rising attacks on women’s rights. In 2022 we partnered with Makeda PR to help promote Lighting the Way, a new report from Shake the Table and The Bridgespan Group. The report shines a light on the chronic underfunding feminist movements experience and urges philanthropists to invest an additional $6 billion by 2026 ($1.5 billion annually) in feminist movements.
For this project we wrote a series of opinion articles for mainstream and specialized media such as CNN, Open Global Rights, Open Democracy and All Africa. We helped Shake the Table establish its LinkedIn and Twitter presence and produced content fit for social media. We also produced a short teaser video highlighting the Report’s key messages.
