For decades, innovators working in pockets across the UN system have used fresh approaches to tackle difficult challenges. Now, in a bid to use the power of innovation as part of the UN’s everyday work, the first system-wide Innovation Toolkit was released in late 2019 by the UN System Staff College (UNSSC).

Ahead of the Kit’s much anticipated unveiling, the UN Secretary-General, António Guterres, encouraged staff to: “Be bold, be revolutionary…and disrupt…because without innovation, there is no way we can overcome the challenges of our time.”

To help the UNSSC launch and promote the new digital Toolkit available to everyone working across the UN System, we developed a suite of promotional and explainer materials including videos, a social media kit, brochures and presentations. We also interviewed UN leaders that are championing innovation and wrote blog pieces on their behalf to highlight their commitment to using innovative approaches in their work.
