Water safety and survival

Canopi

Child drowning is a serious issue across Australia and the Royal Lifesaving Society has a concerted campaign to educate children about water safety. In partnership with CANOPI, Small World Stories worked with the Society to create an animation that told the story of the Waddle family, a family of ducks. On their way to the park the duckling learnt about how to stay safe around various water hazards. This video is now used widely across Australian schools to help keep children safe around water hazards. Watch it here.

Together with CANOPI online, in 2018 and 2019 we also produced two series of training videos designed to educate swim school teachers in the latest techniques. These videos are part of two engaging learning packages that have been rolled out across Australia to support better water safety.
