ENGAGING ONLINE AUDIENCES IN LEARNING ABOUT EMPOWERING WOMEN WITH THE WOMANITY FOUNDATION
In 2015/16, Small World Stories researched, developed and implemented an online campaign to mark the 10-year anniversary of the Womanity Foundation. This involved engaging online audiences in what it takes to empower women and girls around the world.
Working in close collaboration with the Geneva-based Womanity team, we developed a campaign strategy that included a concerted series of infographics, alongside five short videos and content for twitter, facebook and YouTube.
The campaign was hugely successful, boosting Womanity’s facebook audience from 3,000 to 15,000 over a six-week period and engaging tens of thousands of people in a conversation about what it takes to empower women and girls around the world.
